** Jeg har en af disse antenner selv ved mit remote sommerhus ved vesterhavet. Heavy Duty versionerne af Gorans antenner er helt second to none og kan sidde i mange år uden at blæse i stykker. Dette skyldes den overdimensionerede bom og de stive radialer og gode element holdere.
Aluminium kan korrodere i saltvand og i blæst tæt på havet. Jeg behandler mine antenner med CorrosionX spray aller en ganske almindelig rustbeskyttelse på spray/film, alle steder hvor stål møder alu. (evt. spray hele bommen inden du samler antennen).

A Major advance in Amateur Radio antenna design.
All antennas have been calculated using state of the art full 3D Electromagnetic Simulation
Software including the influence of the boom, bracket, baluns and connectors.
The performance of antennas designed using these techniques are exceptional, far better than
antennas designed using “wire” programs like EZNEC Pro/4 –NEC v5.0, 4NEC2, MMANA or AO.
